"Frivol, someone's taken all the silver!" Triddles exclaims as he flies into the little mushroom hut of his best friend.
With one look at his pal, Frivol's wings sink. "It's just a few rims of clouds...isn't it?"
"It's so much more than that," Triddles says, looking thoughtful. "The clouds mean a lot to the humans but only with those linings. Worth a bit, too…"
Frivol hesitates, then pulls one of the linings from a trunk.
"Are you angry?" he asks.
To Frivol's surprise, Triddles lets out a high-pitched, fairy laugh.
"No! I'm just sorry I didn't think of it first."
Lois started writing 100 word stories a little over a decade ago, after being inspired by another writer they met through NaNoWriMo. (Shout out to Neil Murton.) Born in the swamps of Louisiana, Lois crawled out finding ways to escape reality and live in their imagination. Writing has always played a part in that. When they're not writing, Lois loves to immerse themself in all kinds of suspenseful and thrilling media, from books to video games, while cuddling their two dogs, Daisy and Leia.
